Please note: This apartment is rented out for a minimum of 31 days strictly for temporary, non-tourist purposes (students, interns, business travelers). The landlord does NOT provide a signed Meldezettel (registration form) for either Hauptwohnsitz or Nebenwohnsitz under any circumstances, as there is no possibility to sign local registration forms. Complete identity verification (ID/passports) for all guests is strictly required before check-in. If you strictly require a signed Meldezettel for your stay, please do not book this property. This modern apartment is located steps by metro but in a quiet street, in a typical Viennese house built around 1911, on the 2nd floor without lift. The Austrians call it an "Altbau". This is an old Austrian building that has been restored but still retains the details of pre-war Vienna. You will see washbasins on each floor for example. The house is next to the underground station "Meidlinghauptstrasse", where you can visit a new big shopping centre, and from there you can walk along a pedestrian street with many shops and cafes to the train station "Wien Meidling", from where trains go to Salzburg, Budapest, Bratislava and other cities. I would be happy to accept your booking, but I must warn you that a facade renovation has started in the inner courtyard, according to the information I received from the building management company. The windows of the bedroom and the kitchen face the inner courtyard. Therefore, there might be some noise from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, and it seems there could also be some work on Saturdays. The windows on the courtyard side might also be somewhat darkened due to the scaffolding. However, the living room windows face a quiet street on the opposite side. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.
