This cozy, modern furnished 1-bedroom apartment is ideal as accommodation for a longer stay in Vienna. The location close to the business center Austria Campus, the Vienna UNO City, the Austria Conference Center and the Vienna Exhibition Center is interesting for those who are working professionally at one of these institutions for a few weeks or months. The perfect transport connection by the subway line 1 ensures quick ways to any place in the city. The subway station is right outside the front door. Students can reach the city's universities in a short time, just as visitors can quickly get to the tourist highlights of the Danube metropolis. The living room / bedroom Rest well in the comfortable double bed and enjoy another series on cable TV at the large sofa in the evening. The dining table may also serve as a workplace, there is free WLAN with unlimited Internet access available. The kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you need to prepare your own meals. Coffee maker, kettle and toaster for breakfast as well as an oven for pizza or other meals complete the equipment. Of course, you will also find refrigerator with freezer and microwave oven in this practical kitchen. The bathroom The sparkling clean bathroom has a shower corner and sink, here is also the toilet. The location Not far away is the Danube Island, the Viennese's favorite recreational area with a variety of sports activities and a lively local scene on the banks of the Danube. All stores for daily needs such as supermarket and bakery, are in the immediate vicinity, also a street market with fresh fruit and vegetables, there you will also find charming restaurants and cafes with all kinds of Viennese and international specialties. Around the corner is also the post office, cash machine and a pharmacy. Transportation The most important means of transportation is the subway line 1 (red), with it you can reach the center of the city, St. Stephen's Cathedral, in 10 minutes. With one change to the U4 you can quickly reach Schönbrunn Palace. It is best to buy a Wiener Linien season ticket and explore the cultural metropolis on the Danube stress-free with one of the best public transport systems in the world. If you arrive by car: The apartment is located in the 2nd district and here is a short-term parking zone from 9-19 clock with a maximum duration of 3 hours. A quarter of an hour is free, half an hour costs € 1,25, one hour € 2,50 (as of 2023), parking tickets are available in tobacconists/newspaper stores, there are also some parking garages nearby. If you arrive by train: The subway line 1 brings you directly to the front door without changing trains from the main station.
